For governments or corporations buying satellites or satellite products any talk of space agencies faking their flights might sound absurd. And yet if they are faked then paying millions to a con artist is beyond absurd.
How could a company or even a government agency discover whether the satellite program they are trusting is actually performing their part of a very expensive contract? It seems the only sure method would be to have equipment on board the rocket to verify it made it to the place you are paying so dearly to have it placed. In addition to the added cost of added weight and equipment the fact remains that any telemetry for such verification would be received by the launch group itself. Which then means there is no buyer’s agent reporting on the seller’s performance merely the word of the seller.
Yet if we think outside the box presented to us by the seller there is a way to provide a definitive answer prior to entering into any such contract and without even alerting the seller to our concerns. Space based satellite services rely upon multiple events to occur. If just one of those events can’t occur then the product is a scam and those paying millions for a service are being lied to. This FECORE verification would test one key link in the process of placing a satellite into orbit. It is this: The rocket launch and satellite maneuvering systems must produce significant thrust in a vacuum. If this one aspect of space flight is not possible then no other claims or proof of performance matters. An independent test of this single principle is possible by someone with a knowledge of the principles involved who can build the test platform to standards required to accurately answer the question. FECORE has the ability and the integrity to objectively prove the facts. It is worth noting that although space agencies claim that rockets perform better in a vacuum no agency to date has performed a sample of a rocket or maneuvering system actually performing in a vacuum equivalent to space.
Although we are shown video that we are told is in space we have no independent verification of it. A handful of videos have been made by private individuals and even a popular science television show claiming to prove a rocket can function in the vacuum of space. But none of these tests have ever created a vacuum equivalent to space. This fact is known because the vacuum pumps used in each test has never been capable of producing a vacuum equivalent in excess of 100,000 feet. Both the U2 and SR71 aircraft operate at altitudes very close to 100,000 feet. Also in a small chamber the first .25 seconds of a release of pressurized gases as in a rocket engine would create a change from 100,000 to 80,000 or less. The U2 is known to fly at that altitude routinely. In most tests it can be proved that the entire test was conducted at less than 80,000 feet.
The proposed FECORE verification experiment would create a vacuum equivalent to an altitude of just over 100 miles or 600,000 feet (113.63 miles, 182.86km) which is claimed to be about the lowest possible earth orbit. This is a vacuum of .0000176 microns of mercury.
The chamber must be large enough that the release of high pressure gases does not lower the altitude vacuum equivalent to below 300,000 feet. The thrust would be produced by a release of 235 psi gas from a 14cc cylinder in the vacuum chamber.
If the chamber is made 12 inches high (30.5 cm) and 20 inches (50.8 cm) in diameter the internal volume will be 60 liters. The expansion of gas from 14 cc compressed to 235 psi will be 56 cc. That is only 1/10,000th the volume of the chamber.
The chamber must be constructed to provide the proper quality of seals. One half inch poly carbonate could be used to provide a clear window above the test. The very high vacuum final pump is mounted directly on the bottom of the chamber attached to the welded stainless steel. the top piece and the final pump require copper gaskets.
In order to create and preserve this level of vacuum certain materials must not be used inside the chamber. The insulation on wires, electronic component such as capacitors and resistors would all create out-gassing and degrade the vacuum level. No bake out procedure is required at this level of vacuum. The thrust of the gas release would be measured by a simple mechanical spring scale built specifically for the test and the action of the spring would be captured on high speed video.
The amount of thrust may seem very small and not prove much. But when the claim of the space agencies is that high pressure gases produce even more thrust in a vacuum the test can be definitive by simply seeing if there is any decrease of thrust in a vacuum as opposed to the exact same gas release performed at normal atmospheric pressure.

No attempt is made here to estimate the actual cost of this test. But even at $40,000 it would be very economical considering it would easily save you from wasting a million.
Nothing is more important in expenditures than to spend wisely. The larger the expenditure the greater effort should be to verify the product. And when the funds are from investors or from taxes the accountability is higher. Funding this one project can be a watershed event for you and others.
